Peggy Nuse, of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, was born in Georgia. She is a
member of Arlington Garden Club, Ormond Beach, Florida.  She is a Life Member of
NGC, Deep South and FFGC, and is an NGC Accredited Master Judge.  Peggy is
very active in Garden Club work in the Central Florida area, and throughout the
state.  She is well known for her sensational floral design programs and is in
demand around the United States and in Central America.

Peggy is an NGC Accredited Instructor for Flower Show Schools and is a Symposium
Instructor in both Design and Flower Show Procedure. Anyone who has had the pleasure
of studying under Peggy is most fortunate, for she is a superb designer and gifted teacher.
Peggy is very versatile with the subjects she teaches on, and her programs on Tablescapes,
Illuminaries and other design topics are outstanding. She has made avaiilable a tri-fold flyer with the
basics of design entitled "ABC's of Floral Design" that is widely acclaimed and sought after
by students and designers around the country.  In the flyer, she touches on the differences
between "Traditional" and "Creative" design, as well as characteristics of "Abstract" design.
Other useful information can be found in this well-received flyer, and Peggy is very
generous in sharing it with avid designers who want to learn more.

An interesting design in one of Peggy's Symposium classes depicted her background
of being from Georgia.....she incorporated PEANUTS into the design! She regaled the
group with stories from her time of growing up in the area of Georgia that President Jimmy
Carter and wife, Roslyn, are from. The area around Plains is definitely "peanut country"
as we remember from the Carter administration! Peggy is clever enough to have thought
of doing a floral design in celebration of the "lowly" peanut, and it was smashing !

A member of the NGC Flower Show School Committee, she is Accrediting Chairman for
New England and Central Atlantic Areas; a member of Seaside Herb Society; an officer
of the Bromeliad Society of Florida and an FFGC Floral Design Instructor.  Peggy has
served in many capacities with the Creative Floral Arrangers of the Americas through
the years since its inception. She is currently 1st Vice President of CFAA, having
just been elected at the Annual Seminar in Orlando, in February of 2006.  She served
for a number of years as the Seminar Chairman for CFAA, and her able and dedicated
husband, Ted, was very helpful in putting on the Seminar. Everyone knows Ted, and
Ted has fans around the Southeast who appreciate the hard work he has done through
the years in the interest of NGC, FFGC and CFAA.

Peggy is the Vice-Chairman for the upcoming National Garden Club Convention, to be
held in Orlando this year. She wears many hats, and works hard at every, single job!
Her accomplishments are many, her personality sparkling, and her dedication to the
aims and objectives of NGC and FFGC is amazing. We can say she is a bit of both
a Georgia "cracker" and a Florida "cracker". Both states can claim her, but the Florida
folks are just glad she wound up here with us ! We salute Peggy for the many
talents and skills she brings to the table, Peggy Nuse is very special and, truly, a.........
