Introducing Sara Lanier   2011-2013 Deep South Region Director

fun – something that provides mirth or amusement.  Enjoyment or playfulness

After reading the definition of fun, one will just have to agree that this is the definition of Sara Lanier!

Sara is very active in Oleander District, serving as Membership, Calendar and Deep South Special Project Chairman.  In 1993, she was honored by Oleander District as “Outstanding Garden Club Member”. She served as the Oleander District Director, 1995-1997.

During her administration, the first conservation workshop was held along with the 8th State Flower Show on the grounds of Pebble Hill Plantation of Thomasville.

Have a project that needs monetary support?  Ask Sara to help you!  Sara has a way that makes you full of enjoyment as you empty your pockets to support meaningful projects such as kids to go to camp and raising funds to support the Delaware Memorial Fund.

Twelve years ago while traveling along the byways and highways Sara looked out and said, “Those fields of flowers also brought the birds and butterflies dancing close to me.  Like the delicate petals, their wings carried my imagination to places only visible to the mind’s eye of a child”.

Let’s have fun working and enjoy times of friendship as we play along with Sa-rah!
