Gardening Study Courses:  National Garden Clubs, Inc., Online Gardening Study Schools are being offered to all garden club members, who would like to take the GSS online.  Effective June 1, 2009, you will be able to sign up for Course I by going to www.Learn2Grow.com/NGC. 

This course will be offered to non-garden club members, and youth by joining a Virtual Gardening Study- "Garden Time-An Adventure in Gardening by contacting Bonni L. Dinneen at: BonniDinneen@GMail.Com
 
 
UPDATE INFORMATION FROM NATIONAL GARDEN CLUBS FALL BOARD MEETING/ GARDENING STUDY SCHOOLS
 
At the Fall Board Meeting in St. Louis of the National Garden Clubs a recommendation was adopted that courses for all schools have no time restrictions, and with the School Sponsor's approval, may be scheduled back to back. A student may take all four courses in Gardening Study, Environmental Studies, Landscape Design within a year and become an NGC Accredited Consultant.  The NGC Schools Chairman have advised the State Schools Chairman about these changes.  The NGC Schools Chairman are available to assist in any way for the success in implementing these 21st centruy changes.
 
Unchanged is the time-line for refresher credit for Consultants and Master Consultants.  Credit will be granted once only within a calendar year beginning in the year following receipt of consultant or master consultant certification.
