HABITAT FOR HUMANITY LANDSCAPE PROJECT
May 15 WALK-A-THON at NGC Convention in
Atlanta, Georgia
Let's
all pull together and make our DEEP
SOUTH REGION #1 - AGAIN! Help get out the word by
forwarding this information to all HFH LP Chairmen in your clubs and
Districts and all webmasters in your States.Communication will be the key to our success in raising funds for this worthy cause: landscaping Habitat for Humanity homes. Thank you for "OPENING YOUR HEART AND HANDS!" "TOGETHER AS ONE -- OUR HANDS AND HEARTS ARE P.O.W.E.R." Since our "Great Jewelry Exchange" has been so well received and so successful as a fun(d)raiser for landscaping Habitat for Humanity homes, we will continue with this project during the 2009-2011 administration. Please download "THE GREAT JEWELRY EXCHANGE" flyer for all the details and distribute to your members as you promote the big sale at our Deep South Convention in Natchez, March 8 and 9, 2010. Remember, this is our annual drive in competition with the other 7 NGC Regions. Deep South has always come in #1, and we need your jewelry sales and monetary donations to make this happen again. Results will be revealed at the NGC Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, May 14-16, 2010. In the months ahead, if we really work at it, we can be #1 again! With gift giving over the holidays, take advantage of the "golden oppotunity" to clean out your jewelry boxes and drawers by donating your "gently used" costume jewelry that you no longer love to wear. You can then fill them up again with holiday gifts received and "new to you" costume jewelry purchases at bargain prices PLEASE NOTE: THE MONEY YOU MAKE FROM ALLL SALES AND THE DONATIONS YOU COLLECT ARE USED FOR YOUR HABITAT HOMES LANDSAPNG PROJECTS Do not send funds to Deep South or NGC, but DO REPORT FIGURES to your HFH LP Chairman. It's these tabulations totaled together for all clubs/circles/districts in the DS Region that make up the figures we report to the NGC HFH LP Chairman. You are essential to our success! Thanks for "OPENING YOUR HEART AND HANDS" in support of this very worthwhile and heartwarming project -- that of bringing joy to those less fortunate then we, by beautifying their surroundings, with the added bonus of enhancing our communities and improving the environment. Thank you, Jo Williams, Chairman, Deep South HFH Landscape Project, oewjo@aol.com.
