HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
LANDSCAPE PROJE CTS

Monday March 31, 2008
7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front

"A STROLL ON THE BEACH" -   The WALK is to benefit Habitat for Humanity Landscape Project.  We need strollers, joggers, power walkers, watchers, beach loungers, those who just like to socialize, helpers, sponsors, donors, and, of course, we can't meet our goal without the ROLL-OVERS, who sleep in but faithfully fill the coffers with their checks.  In other words, there's a place for everyone and all are invited.

Sign in designation: ( the morning of the WALK) TBA.

WHAT COULD BE MORE FUN THAN SLIPPING INTO SOMETHING REALLY COMFY - LIKE SHORTS OR A BATHING SUIT OR CAPRIS OR A JOGGING OUTFIT OR WHATEVER - AND DITCHING THOSE PUMPS FOR A PAIR OF FLIP-FLOPS OR JUST GO BAREFOOT SO THAT YOU CAN FEEL THE SAND AND SURF - AND ENJOY BEAUTIFUL PENSACOLA BEACH.  IT DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!

THIS FUNDRAISER IS A “FRIENDLY “ COMPETITION BETWEEN THE STATES IN OUR DEEP SOUTH REGION.  JOIN IN THE FUN AND HELP YOUR STATE TO BE #1.  WHETHER YOU ATTEND THE CONVENTION OR NOT (BUT PLEASE DO) PLEASE WRITE A CHECK AND GET IT TO YOUR STATE TREASURER, HFH LP CHAIRMAN OR PRESIDENT.  SEE YOU ON THE SPECTACULAR PENSACOLA BEACH!
Be there in body or spirit -- but be there.  We're counting on all of our DS Presidents and HFH LP Chairmen to pass the word and be there or  send a representative for your State.  The (friendly) competition is on!

Flower Power - Over 900 "container gardens in a box" were shipped to garden club representatives and Habitat Affiliates across the Nation, and more than 400 of these were presented to happy HFH homeowners.  What a statement!

Periwinkle and Bloom has committed to repeat their generous donations of "container gardens" in Spring 2007.
