DSR SCHOLARSHIP INTRODUCTION

The Deep South Region Scholarship Program offers financial aid to
a Deep South Region junior, senior or graduate student pursuing a
Master's Degree in any garden or environmental related subject and
enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Two (2) scholarships, in the amount of $3,000.00 each are available
annually. One-year scholarships are available to juniors, seniors
and graduate students pursuing a Master's Degree. Sophomores may make
application for their junior year. The college/university must be
accredited and listed in the official Web site of the U.S. Department
of Education. The annual grant is dispersed to the designated school
by August 15th.
Students in each Deep South Member State are eligible to apply to
their state's Deep South Region Scholarship Chairman. The completed
application must be sent to the State Garden Club Chairman for the
state in which the applicant is a legal resident, even if the student
is attending an out-of-the state school, to be received no later than
